Priority Funding Notice: To be considered in our first round of funding decisions, please submit this application by April 7, 2026. Applications received after this date will be reviewed on a rolling basis only if remaining funds are available. We strongly encourage early submission to secure your support.
Who Should Apply? Travel support is intended for those who do not have access to institutional or employer-sponsored travel budgets. We specifically prioritize:
- Confirmed Speakers and Poster Presenters: traveling from outside the immediate area.
- Community Members: Patients, advocates, and students.
- Geography: Individuals traveling from the Central Valley, Southern California, or Northern California (outside the Bay Area) or farther away.
- Mission Impact: Those who demonstrate how attending will help them serve Hep B-affected communities.

Join us on May 12, 8 to 4:30 at UCSF's Mission Bay Campus for a historic first — the inaugural Hep B Free California Summit, bringing together clinicians, researchers, advocates, patients, and the community to accelerate progress toward hepatitis B elimination.
This year’s theme, “Hep B Elimination Through Community, Public Health, Innovation, and Healthcare Partnerships,” reflects what this moment demands: collaboration across sectors to protect prevention, strengthen care, and move closer to a cure.

- Nonprofit and public health workers: $25
- Community advocates, patients, and students attend free
- Group pricing available for support staff
- Registration fee includes breakfast and lunch
