Plan to join us at the Historic Heights Fire Station
to celebrate all things tree in the Heights!
The Urban Forestry Committee has planned a fun free and informative day for you.
Visit with Trees for Houston, Houston Parks Board, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service for Harris County, local nurseries, and other community partners for information on proper tree planting and maintenance.
Select your right-of-way tree from the City Foresters and arrange with the on-site crew to get it planted.
The Kids Zone will be filled with crafty things to keep the little ones occupied.
At 11:00 am, there will be a brief presentation celebrating
the 10-year anniversary of the Yale Green Corridor.
Hear the history of the Yale Trees and the various efforts to sustain this green canopy.
