God on Broadway returns to Asbury Memorial Church this October, and we’re kicking things off with Waitress, the beloved musical filled with heart, humor, unforgettable music, and the courage to imagine a different future.
God on Broadway is a Sunday morning worship service with a Broadway twist. Each week, we build our church service around the music, characters, stories, and themes of a different musical, exploring where those stories connect with faith, hope, love, justice, grace, and our own lives.
Through Waitress, we’ll explore second chances, finding your voice, the people who help us along the way, and the hope that can appear when we least expect it.
Expect music. Expect creativity. Expect laughter. Expect a meaningful message. Most of all, expect church, just done a little differently.
