2026 Freedom Fund Advocacy and Awards Gala, Delta Hotel Ballroom, 725 Woodlake Drive, in Chesapeake, Virginia 23320, Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 5:30-8:30pm. (Formal Attire)
“Justice Can’t Wait"
Each year, our Gala serves as one of the most important opportunities for us to come together as a community to celebrate progress, recognize leadership, and raise the critical resources necessary to continue the work of justice and equality in our community.
This year’s theme, “Justice Can’t Wait”, reflects the urgency of the work before us and our continued commitment to advancing civil rights, equity, and opportunity for all. Your support not only helps ensure a successful event but also directly supports the programs, advocacy, and community initiatives of the Chesapeake NAACP.
As members and friends of this historic organization, your participation is vital to the success of this event. Therefore, we are requesting that each member support the gala by purchasing two (2) tickets at $100.00 per ticket for a total contribution of $200.00. ($125.00 after August 31, 2026= $250.00). Approx. processing fees of $5.49 per $100 and $8.39 per $125.
If you are unable to attend, please sponsor two (2) local youth students as your special invited guest.
We encourage you to secure your tickets early and invite others in your network to join us for this meaningful evening. Tickets purchased before August 31, 2026, will be entered in a drawing for a two-night stay at the Delta Hotel.
