Please join us for the 3rd annual Finding God in Alzheimer's, "What if God and Science are on The Same Side"About this Event
Finding God in Alzheimer’s (FGIA) is a half-day event designed to address the rising prevalence of Alzheimer’s disease in Middle Tennessee. FGIA brings together researchers, clinicians, faith leaders and congregants to provide information and referrals for communities who by age, sex and other key factors are more likely to be at risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD).
Boxed lunches will be provided to attendees following the program. Attendees are invited to stay and eat together or are welcome to take their lunch to-go.
This year’s event will explore the intersecting principles of faith and science and our shared mission to support communities that flourish at every age, and in all aspects of life. We share this community platform to:
- acknowledge the community’s experience of Alzheimer’s disease.
- deepen the community’s understanding of the disease, risk reduction and prevention.
- gain both spiritual and scientific insight in collectively addressing the problem and creating sustainable, effective partnerships.
- encourage community-led, co-designed solutions for reducing the impact of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias on our community.
