Youth Sewing ClubSew Much Fun with Melissa
Join us this fall for our Youth Sewing Club, where creativity, confidence, and sewing skills come together! Beginning in September, we'll meet every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. through December.
Please note: There will be no class the week of Thanksgiving or the week of Christmas.
For $100 per month, your child will enjoy two hours of hands-on sewing fun each week. All class materials are included, so there's no need to purchase project supplies.
Throughout the semester, students will create a variety of fun, seasonal projects that encourage creativity while making wonderful handmade gifts for the holiday season. Along the way, they'll build a strong foundation in sewing by learning:
Sewing machine operation and care
How to read and follow sewing patterns
Proper pressing techniques with an iron
Safe and accurate cutting with rulers and rotary cutters
When and how to use pins and clips
Proper seam allowances and stitch alignment
Fabric handling and construction techniques
And so much more!
More than just a sewing class, Youth Sewing Club is a wonderful opportunity for kids to make new friends, express their creativity, and develop skills they'll use for years to come.
Tuition is $100 per month, with payment due by the 1st of each month.
