Online pre-order (QR CODE) and curbside pickup only.
The tree giveaway is open to St. Catharines residents only, proof of residency such as a driver’s licence or recent utility bill will be required at pickup.
Residents interested in picking up a free tree must reserve a tree in advance online and present a copy of their QR code at time of pickup (digital or paper). QR codes will be emailed to the email address you provide on the digital request form. If you wish to pick up trees for someone that has also pre-registered online, you must also present their unquir QR code (digital or print) at time of pickup.
The tree species available at the 2026 Fall Tree Giveaway include:
- Blue Beech /
- White oak /
- Nanny Berry /
- Ironwood /
Pick-up times for each tree species are:
- Blue Beech: 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
- White Oak: 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
- Nanny Berry: 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
- Ironwood: 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Please note there is a limit of one tree per household. Households trying to obtain more than one tree may have all of their requests voided.
