The fall luncheon is traditionally when we hold our annual business meeting, as required in our bylaws. This is a great time to find out what’s been happening this past year with Akron Association and give your input for the year ahead.
At our annual fall meeting, we hold staggered officer elections. We are electing officers for Vice President and Membership Chair. (Fall 2027 will be President, Treasurer and Secretary.)
We are especially looking for someone who LOVES planning to be our 2026-28 Vice President whose main responsibilities are to coordinate plans for Founders Day, Fall Luncheon and Holiday Brunch. Questions about this position? Contact our current VP, Dana Garcia.
Officers meet just a few times a year (2-3 on average) to coordinate our association activities, along with occasional email/phone contact. We do so many things as an alumnae group, and each officer and chair has done a great job making us work. We are a well-oiled machine!
Lots of reasons to attend Fall Luncheon, most important is spending time with sisters!
Please RSVP directly to our VP Dana Garcia, here on FB, or [email protected] by Thursday October 8th.
Thank you so much for your continued support and love of Theta Phi Alpha. We hope to see you at many of our upcoming events!!
