Murphy's Bio:
My name is Murphy Coan, I'm an Ohio Native and grew up in Westerville. When I wasn't in school or at football or track practice, I spent every ounce of my childhood exploring and fishing in Alum Creek. My time spent at the creek was the foundation that started me on my journey to becoming the outdoorsman and conservationist I am today. My love of natural places drove me to pursue a bachelor's degree in forestry, fisheries and wildlife from The Ohio State University, and my affinity for water, specifically rivers, was the cornerstone to my career path as a fisheries biologist. I have conducted over 750 electrofishing surveys throughout Ohio since 2015 and have worked in nearly all of major river systems throughout the state.
