🎬 2026 Elgin Short Film Festival🗓️ Saturday, Sept.19, 2026 at 7 p.m. | The Hemmens Cultural Center
Join us for an unforgettable evening of cinema at the 18th annual Elgin Short Film Festival (ESFF), where filmmakers and film lovers come together to celebrate creativity, storytelling, and the art of independent short films.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a premiere-style red carpet experience, featuring limousine arrivals of filmmakers, photo opportunities, and pre-show entertainment. At 7 p.m., enjoy screenings of the top six films, showcasing standout talent from across the U.S. and around the world.
A panel of judges will select the top films, and audience members will vote live to determine the People’s Choice Award, so your vote helps decide the winners!
