*These medals are made by a local crafter named Tim DeWitt! They were created and printed with a 3D printer and the medal is lightweight. Materials: PLA filament, which is like a lightweight, but strong, kind of plastic. There are no distances on the medal or ribbon, but there is a space on the bib where you can write your distance.

Join us in celebrating the vibrant tradition of Day of the Dead, which begins on November 1st and concludes on November 2nd, 2026. This Mexican holiday is a cherished time for families to remember and honor their departed loved ones. To commemorate this meaningful occasion, we proudly present our fourth annual Day of the Dead virtual event: 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2!

We believe in giving back to those who serve our country, which is why we will be donating a minimum of 15% from every registration to the National Military Family Association. Their unwavering mission is to advocate for, support, and enhance the quality of life for military families. Through their bold advocacy, innovative programs, and responsive solutions, they make a lasting difference in the lives of those who have selflessly served our nation.

Embrace the spirit of Day of the Dead with the following race details:

- Races can be completed at any time during 2026, providing flexibility to participants.

- Choose your preferred distance from 1 mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, or 26.2, catering to all fitness levels and aspirations.

- This virtual event welcomes participants of all ages, making it a fantastic opportunity for families and individuals to join together in celebration.

- A percentage of your race registration fees will be donated directly to the National Military Family Association, supporting their impactful initiatives.

As a testament to your accomplishment, you will receive a beautiful medal upon completing your chosen distance. It's a symbol of your dedication and participation in this memorable event.

Secure your place in this race for a registration fee of $25, which includes your coveted medal, bib, and a generous donation to the National Military Family Association.

**Medals and bibs will ship out within 2 to 5 days of signing up.

What is a Virtual Race?

A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Running and walking on your own, or with friends! And your medal will be shipped directly to you. Complete a virtual 5Ks, 10K, half marathon and more!

Each race benefits a difference charity

For each of our virtual races, we choose a charity to donate a portion of each registration to. We’ve already raised more than $1,00,000 for charities from our many different virtual races! Our goal is to continue to help different charities around the world.
