Preserve Historic La Porte (PHLP), La Porte's nonprofit historic preservation group , invites you to attend its 2026 Christmas Candlelight Tour of Historic Homes, Saturday, December 5th from 4-8 pm, and Sunday, December 6th from 1-5 pm. All times are CST (Chicago) time.
Our 23rd annual tour will feature five historic homes, the Mid-Century Presbyterian Church of La Porte and the former La Porte Firestation #1. This year's hosts and homes include: Tom and Debbie Buell (1906 Michigan), Dr David and Joanne Gorecki (1515 Michigan), Mark and Linda Heister (1600 Indiana), Dan and Melanie Murphy (KOP Officer's Circle), and Ashley Wisnieski and Ben Konowitz (2107 Monroe). All seven sites will be open for self-guided touring, and will be decorated for the holiday season. Also included in the one ticketed price will be live musical entertainment at all locations, and refreshments at the Church.
eTickets must be presented at will-call (at the Presbyterian Church) the day of the tour.
