Title: "Value Before the Deal: Why Owners Lose Options Long Before They Sell"

Presented by:
Jason Glisczynski, CFP®, CPWA®, CEPA®
Managing Partner of Silvertree

About the Program: Most business owners believe the value of their company is determined when they decide to sell.
In reality, many of the factors that impact value, transferability, succession, and future flexibility are established years earlier. Health events, owner dependence, leadership gaps, market changes, and uncoordinated planning can quietly reduce options long before an owner is ready to transition. In this engaging Business X-Change presentation, Jason Glisczynski will share real-world stories, practical insights, and a simple framework business owners and executives can use to evaluate their company's readiness, identify hidden risks, and strenghten long-term enterprise value. Whether a transition is years away or not on the horizon at all, attendees will leave with actionable ideas to build a stronger and more transferable business.
Key Takeaways:
- Understand why profitable businesses are not always transferable businesses.
- Learn the hidden factors that cause owners to lose options long before a transition occurs.
- Discover the three questions every owner and leadership team should be asking today.
- Identify practical steps to reduce owner dependence, increase readiness, and preserve future flexibility.
