It doesn’t take a full day to write a business plan. But it does take time to do the thinking and gain the understanding required to write an effective one.
That’s what this day is about.
We’ll step away from the day-to-day and take a deeper look at where you’re going, what you want your business to create for you, and what actually needs to happen to get there.
You’ll reflect on your longer-term goals, dissect the important components of your business, identify the key drivers behind your results, and evaluate your performance in each. Then we’ll use that understanding to begin building a clear, numbers-based plan for 2027.
During the clinic, we’ll work through:
- Your goals and the business required to support them
- Your economic model, production and conversion rates
- Lead generation and where your business is actually coming from
- Expenses, profitability and opportunities for improvement
- The monthly and weekly activities that turn an annual goal into an executable plan
This is a working session, not a motivational seminar. Bring your 2026 numbers, your goals, your questions, and be ready to think critically about your business.

About the Facilitator
Alex Fenske is an experienced real estate industry leader whose background includes investment, lending, brokerage, franchise leadership, coaching, and training. Alex has operated the Chicago Southland Homes team since 2009, brokering over 700 transactions on behalf of home sellers, buyers, and investors. He took on the role of Team Leader to launch a new Keller Williams franchise in 2018, growing it to become the highest-producing real estate office in its market within just 18 months and reaching a peak of 224 agents, and now serves as Team Leader of KW Preferred, one of the company’s Top 50 franchises.
Alex’s experience in real estate investment, brokerage, and business combined with a commitment to mastering the industry's proven models and systems allow him to effectively consult top industry professionals on aspects of business ownership beyond sales. From the basics of goal setting, budgeting and business planning to more involved topics like profitable team-building, income tax considerations, and advanced real estate investment strategies, Alex has gained a reputation for delivering complex content in a relatable, engaging, and easily understandable way.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time his wife and two children, smoking meats, and volunteering.
