Welcome to the first-ever Benefit Bendigo Gold Classic, a new chapter for pickleball in Central Victoria.Join us for three days of competition at Red Energy Arena, one of regional Australia's premier sporting and entertainment venues. Featuring 20 indoor courts under one roof, this landmark event brings together players from across Victoria and beyond to compete in a professionally run tournament environment.
As a Pickleball Australia Tier 2 sanctioned tournament, the Bendigo Gold Classic offers players the opportunity to earn Australian Ranking (AR) points while competing against some of the country's best emerging and established talent.
Events will be offered across a range of skill and age divisions to cater for players of all standards.
Come and experience the excitement of Victoria's newest sanctioned pickleball tournament as Bendigo launches what promises to become a signature event on the Australian pickleball calendar.

EVENT SCHEDULE
Saturday 19 September - Gender Doubles
Sunday 20 September - Mixed Doubles
Monday 21 September - Singles/Skinny Singles
You can play in more than one event during the tournament but all events need to be in a different categories e.g. Mixed Doubles, Doubles, Singles and Skinny Singles.
Players are guaranteed minimum three games per event. Medals will be awarded to gold, silver and bronze winning competitors in each bracket.
REGISTRATION
Early Bird: $60 includes first event [till 23:59 17 July 2026]
General Registration: $70 includes first event [till 23:59 28 August 2026]
Late Registration: $85 includes first event
Each additional event: $30
Registrations Close: 5 September 23:59 or earlier if capacity is reached
Participants must have a Pickleball Tournaments account that is linked to a current PA membership and DUPR account. If you need help setting this up please visit https://www.pickleballaus.org/faq-players
Players may enter a doubles event without a partner but It is the responsibility of the participant to source a partner and have them enter to secure a position.
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
Players may enter age events based on their age as at Dec 31 2026. Singles and Doubles skill based events will be based on a players appropriate singles / doubles DUPR rating at the close of registration.
Skinny Singles skill based events will be based on a players doubles DUPR rating at the close of registration.
WAITLIST
Singles: players will automatically be allocated a position in the main draw, UNLESS an event is at capacity.
Doubles: players will automatically be allocated a position in the main draw, UNLESS the event is at capacity. Teams who have both players enter the event, will be prioritised over a player who fails to secure a partner. Teams that do not have both partners registered will be moved to the waitlists after 7 days. Teams will only be moved back after both teams are entered if the main draw is not full.
At the close of registration the Tournament Director will determine if waitlisted players can/cannot be added to the event based on venue capacity at any given time.
