What to Expect:
- Learn how to submit plans through MyBuildingPermit.com with hands-on workshops designed to help you navigate electronic plan review.
- Understand Bellevue’s permitting process through a panel discussion featuring city staff who can explain what to expect and how to successfully move through the permit process.
- Get up to speed on tree requirements with a workshop covering Bellevue’s regulations for tree removal.
- Learn more about the pre-approved plans program that is being developed for detached accessory dwelling units (DADUs) and cottages in Bellevue.
- Connect directly with city experts working in permit review, building and zoning code, policy updates, code compliance, long-range planning and more.

- Pre-Approved Plans Tools and Possibilities: Join city staff after the Residential Permitting Expo to learn more about the pre-approved plans program that is being developed for detached accessory dwelling units (DADUs) and cottages in Bellevue. City staff will share the vision for the program and answer questions from the community. Our partners at Govstream.ai will also showcase new tools that are under development to help property owners better understand what may be feasible on their property. This interactive, hackathon-style event is also an opportunity to help shape the program. Your feedback will help us identify the tools, resources and information that would be most useful in making pre-approved plans easier and more accessible for the Bellevue community.
