Bars, Brothels, and Bad Places of Nelson – A Haunted Walking Tour
The Nelson Paranormal League invites you on a spine-chilling journey into the darker side of Nelson’s past with the Bars, Brothels, and Bad Places of Nelson Haunted Walking Tour. This is not your typical evening stroll—these stories reveal a side of Nelson that is raw, gritty, and, at times, unnerving.
Beginning at a secret downtown location, you’ll be guided through back alleys, historic buildings, and notorious haunts where the city’s more shadowy tales took place. Along the way, you’ll hear accounts of restless spirits, scandalous histories, and chilling reports of paranormal activity.
The tour concludes at one of Nelson’s historic venues, where recent ghostly happenings have left visitors uneasy—and sometimes downright cold.
“Bars, Brothels, and Bad Places is an exciting adventure, especially with the layered history of Nelson,” says Nelson Paranormal League founder Chris Holland. “When we share these stories in the exact places where they occurred, combined with the group’s collective energy, something unusual almost always happens.”
This walking tour is intended for mature audiences due to the nature of the stories. Join us if you dare, and discover Nelson’s haunted history in the very places where its secrets were born.
This Tour is Part 3 of a three part series, Heritage Walking Tour Part 2 and Streetcar#23 Part 1.
