Registration is now open for the 2026 WFHS Badger State Conference!Please join us Wednesday, September 23rd and Thursday September 24th at Cedar Creek Hotel and Conference Center in Rothschild, WI for an exciting two days of inspirational presentations, professional networking, informative vendors, prizes and great learning opportunities! This year's event will feature educational presentations led by nationally recognized animal welfare experts sharing what they have learned and done over time to improve the lives of shelter animals and the professionals who care for them. Registrants are also eligible to receive CE credits for attending the event.

Tuesday, September 22nd: Happy Hour and Round Table Event
Join seminar speakers, sponsors, vendors and fellow shelter staff from across Wisconsin for a night of networking and connection making! This event will facilitate focused, interactive discussions allowing attendees to engage in, debate, or brainstorm specific topics in a smaller round table setting.
Wednesday, September 23rd: WFHS Badger State Conference Happy Hour and Dinner
Build relationships, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations, all over a delicious meal! Join us as we celebrate the return of the Badger State Conference and close out our first day of learning.

WFHS is committed to offering Conference scholarship funding to applicants who are eager to learn and whose organization would be financially challenged to pay the registration fee.
