About this Event

Party for a Purpose

We're heading Back to the Bay for an unforgettable evening at the iconic San Francisco City Hall! Our annual gala promises exceptional food, music, and dancing set beneath the grand ceilings and timeless elegance of this historic landmark.

Celebrate Our Impact

Celebrate another year of progress along with APA members, leaders, colleagues, partners, and the next generation of psychiatry trailblazers. Together, we’re showing communities across the U.S. that Mental Health Care Works.

Giving Back

Once again, we're bringing you a silent auction with incredible items to bid on, including travel packages, exclusive experiences, signed memorabilia, fashion items, and more. Every bid you place helps us make a difference.

New this year: A friendly competition with a big impact

The Foundation's administration is inviting each APA District Branch (DB) to help decide where our next community donation goes through the 2026 District Branch Gala Challenge. The DB that sends the highest percentage of its members to attend the Gala will get to select a 501 (c) (3) organization to receive a $10,000 donation from the Foundation in your DB's name. Once again, we're bringing you a silent auction with incredible items to bid on, including travel packages, exclusive experiences, signed memorabilia, fashion items, and more. Every bid you place helps us make a difference.

Just Added: Meet Mayor Daniel Lurie (VIP Exclusive)
VIP guests will have the opportunity to meet San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie in an intimate setting and hear firsthand about the city's mental health initiatives and the role of public-private partnerships in expanding care.

VIP ticket benefits include:

  • Enjoy dedicated food and drink servers with no lines or waiting.
  • Bid on select Silent Auction items available to VIP ticket holders only.
  • Private lounge to network with friends and colleagues in a quiet, relaxed setting
  • Remarks from Mayor Lurie

Your Presence Makes a Difference
Every ticket purchased supports the Foundation's mission to Create a Mentally Healthy Nation for All.
