About this Event
Whether you're a tenant, a first time homebuyer, a seasoned homeowner or someone seeking a place to live, this Housing Fair will provide you will the resources and information to meet your housing needs.
In our exhibit hall, there will exhibitors from city agencies, small businesses, lenders and community based organizations to answer any housing question or meet your social service needs in general.
There will be a counseling area if you need personal attention in a private setting to address your first-time homebuyer, mortgage, r property tax, housing lotteries, home repair, or general tenant rights isses.
During the day, we will have numerous relevant and free informative seminars that you are welcomed to join:
- First time Homebuyer Orientation: 10:15am-11:30am
- Resources for Seniors & Caregivers: 10:15am- 11:45am
- Lowering Household Expenses: 10:15am-11:30am
- Mortgage & Grant Showcase: 12:15pm-1:30pm
- Estate Planning & Avoiding Scams: 12:15pm-1:45pm
- Maintaining Rental Properties & Managing Tenants: 12:15pm-12:45pm
- Applying for Affordable Housing Lotteries: 1:45pm-3:00pm
- Landlords & Tenants: Rights & Responsibilities: 1:15pm-2:30pm
