CVEX is looking for passionate community members; Whether you've been involved with the fair for years or simply care about supporting agriculture and our farming community, this is a great opportunity to have your voice heard. If you care about local agriculture, local events and community traditions, we would
love to hear from you!
We will be seeking to elect up to 5 new Board members to an 11-member Board. To vote and/or stand in the election, you must purchase an annual membership ($15). These can be purchased at the door before the meeting; cash or tap available.
If you would like to stand for the Board, please come prepared to say a few words about yourself and what you can bring to the Board table. The Board is seeking thoughtful, reliable team players with some time, strong character, integrity and personal dedication. Skillsets in any of the following are an asset:
o Governance and Board experience
o Business and Leadership
o Communication
o Long-term strategic and operational planning
o Financial Literacy
o Event Planning
o Marketing , Advertising, Fundraising
o Community Outreach and Connections
o Connections to the Agricultural Community
