What a better way to celebrate National Philanthropy Day than with good conversation, good company, and a little Falliday cheer?
This year, AFP Nova Scotia is bringing together members of our region’s philanthropic community for a happy hour focused on connection, conversation, and learning. Enjoy mocktails while joining us for a fireside chat with a local philanthropist. Lisa Weatherhead, CFRE, of the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia, will moderate a conversation with Lisa Murphy, Co-Chair, J&W Murphy Foundation.
Hear their story, learn about what inspires their giving, and gain insight into philanthropy from the donor’s perspective. We will also explore the donor experience and what charities can do to build stronger, meaningful relationships with the people who help make their work possible.
This gathering will convene nonprofit professionals, volunteers, donors, and community partners to connect, learn, and celebrate the important role philanthropy plays in our communities.
