📣 Calling all Olympia School District high school students in grades 9-12! Want to share your ideas, make your voice heard and help shape the future of our schools? The Student Leadership Advisory Council (SLAC) is accepting applications for the 2026–27 school year!
Mission Statement: To ensure students have a voice in school decisions. We’re here to bring student ideas and concerns directly to the school board, helping to shape policies that work for everyone and make our school community stronger.
SLAC reviews many different polices and procedures such as the AI policy, the phone policy, the student handbook, etc. This year SLAC will be working closely with Superintendent Murphy and the student reps to complete an improved safety policy and procedure.

⏰ Application Deadline: October 30, 2026
📍 First Meeting: November 9, 2026 and last meeting will be May 3, 2027.
