Safe Light: 6:20 AM
Draw Tournament - the 1st team to check-in for the tournament will draw one of the three possible bags: 2 Reds, 3 Trout, or 2/2.
Start: Even-numbered boats go first, followed by odd-numbered boats 2 minutes later. Start signaled by an air horn.
Staging Area: Within 100 yards of the end of the rock jetty at the exit of the ramp basin
Return Deadline: Inside the rock jetty by 3:00 PM to avoid disqualification.
Weigh-in: Begins at 3:20 PM.
Fish Sizes:
Reds: 18 to 27 inches. Can not possess more than 1 Red per angler
Speckled Sea Trout: 15 inches19 inches
Heaviest bag of wins. 1 pound penalty for each dead fish
Point System: 4 fish beats 3 fish, 3 fish beats 2 regardless of weight.
Release Requirement: All fish must be weighed and released unless dead at the weigh-in.
Please note that the bridges in St Johns co are "no wake" zones marked by buoys.
We will recognize the tournament top 5 after the weigh in so stick around for the presentation.
