The Achiever's Honors/Awards Ceremony recognizes all members who have earned communication and leadership awards. The Achiever's Reception is complimentary to all District 103 Toastmasters who have earned educational awards in the Pathways program. If you earned a Level award, Path completion award, or DTM award, you will receive a special invitation to register for the Achiever's Honors/Awards Ceremony and Reception, which is free of charge. Featured Keynote Speaker and Guest Speaker:

Jocelyn Tyson, 2023 World Champion of Public Speaking

Jocelyn joined the Voorhees Toastmasters Club in 2021 and readily served in leadership roles including Club Secretary and Vice President Public Relations. In 2023, Jocelyn entered the club’s International Speech contest and progressed through three rounds before winning at the District level. Jocelyn advanced to the regional finals and became one of 28 semi-finalists. On August 19, 2023, Dr. Tyson competed against seven other finalists on the world stage in the Bahamas and was awarded the coveted title of Toastmaster International World Champion 2023 of Public Speaking. Dr. Jocelyn B. Tyson of Willingboro, New Jersey earned a doctorate degree in 2006 from the Ernest Mario School of Ph*rm*cy at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. She is a pharmacist with over 16 years of interdisciplinary experience including retail, managed care, and compounding. Dr. Tyson holds the role of Vaccine Health and Science Specialist at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, serving the Baltimore, Maryland area.

Srinivas Saineni, DTM, International Director, Region 4

A Toastmaster since 2006, Saineni is a member of his home club, Toastmasters on Purpose, in Palatine. He has held several high-profile leadership positions within Toastmasters and has attained the Distinguished Toastmaster designation, the highest level of educational achievement in the organization. Saineni credits Toastmasters with reinforcing his belief that growth as a leader comes from committing to a lifelong learning mindset. He says, “I have learnt that good ideas can come from anywhere and anyone, the key is to be open and ready for them. Toastmasters has given me the self-confidence to lead large teams effectively.”

As a member of the Toastmasters International Board of Directors, Saineni is a “working ambassador” for the organization. He works with the Board to develop, support, and modify the policies and procedures that guide Toastmasters International in fulfilling its mission.
