Join us on Sunday, October 18 as we mark an extraordinary milestone in the life of St. James Anglican Church, 200 years of faith, fellowship and community in Maitland.200th Anniversary Worship Service & Luncheon
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., we are honoured to welcome The Right Reverend William G. Cliff, Bishop of the Diocese of Ontario, along with other distinguished guests, for this special commemorative service.
Music will be provided by acclaimed organist Matthew Larkin and his ensemble, featuring JUNO Award-winning soprano Kathleen Radke.
This once-in-a-century gathering is an opportunity to give thanks for the generations who have worshipped, served and cared for St. James, celebrate the community of today, and look toward the future with renewed spirit and dedication.
All are warmly welcome, including current and former parishioners, family and friends, neighbours and members of the wider community.
Following the service, everyone is invited to continue the celebration at our Bicentennial Commemoration Luncheon at the Maitland Education and Recreation Centre (MERC).
Lunch will be served at approximately 12:00 PM.
Gather with friends old and new, share memories and stories, and celebrate the people and connections that have shaped St. James over the past 200 years.
