Marky Lennon is a third-generation Venetian. The youngest of 13, his family has lived in Venice for over 100 years. His cousins are the famous "Lennon Sisters" from the Lawrence Welk Show & Marky prides himself in keeping their vocal sound alive. He's been singing with the band "Venice" for almost 50 years, alongside his brother and cousins.On this night, Marky, along with his sometime writing partner John Vester, a Venice native since 1980, will be performing a mix of their original songs and a few carefully chosen covers. Trading off lead vocals throughout the evening, they'll take you on a musical journey through heartfelt folk and pop songs with witty lyrics that really hit home.
With just a hint of storytelling in between, "Two Voices, One Guitar" promises to be a lovely evening.
