Ages 18+
This is not a beginner crochet class. This is an intermediate pattern and will require guidance from the instructor for completion. Students attending the class need to be able to confidently crochet a single crochet stitch independently, without assistance.*
Come relax and learn how to crochet a bag with our experienced instructor Amanda Farabaugh of Creative Retreat Co for this two part class.
Amanda brings over 35 years of crocheting experience and can crochet right/ left handed to accommodate all students. She prides herself on patiently teaching the skill of crocheting onto others.
Classes are kept to a maximum of 6 people so you truly learn and finish your projects. We hope you make many more bags!
All materials are included in the price of the class.
Each student will complete one bag with handles. Colors may vary due to supplies available at the time of class. Students will receive the pattern, yarn, stitch markers and crochet hook.
The instructor, Amanda, was born, raised and currently resides in Northport. She has a BSN in Apparel and Textiles from Oneonta State University and as well as an associates degree in Fashion Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology. On top of her creative studies, she received a BSN in nursing at Adelphi University and is currently working as a registered nurse. Amanda is still very passionate about Art and teaches several different classes at Nest On Main.
