In a world of unprecedented change, the speed, pressure, uncertainty and constant stimulation can leave us searching for greater clarity, balance and meaning.
Drawing from the ancient wisdom of Mahayana tradition of mind training, Lobsang Phuntsok offers a 2-day journey with him where we will explore how to understand our mind, recognise habitual patterns, work with emotions and difficulties, and cultivate greater awareness, resilience, wisdom and compassion.
Through reflection, meditation, dialogue and experiential practices, this journey is not simply about understanding the Buddha's Teachings, but on making them practical and relevant to everyday life — in our relationships, family, work and the larger community.
Registration closes on 20 Nov 2026 or when all places are filled, whichever comes first.
About 𝐋𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬𝐨𝐤:
𝐋𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬𝐨𝐤 is a former Buddhist monk, renowned speaker and thought leader in the fields of education, sustainable and mindful living as well as social entrepreneurship. Lobsang’s personal journey is one of deep transformation. He channelled his profound understanding of the human condition into the creation of Jhamtse Gatsal Children’s Community.
Lobsang overcame a traumatic childhood marked by abandonment, rejection, and emotional struggles to become a compassionate Buddhist teacher and humanitarian. Raised by loving grandparents who believed in his potential, he was sent to a monastery where discipline, spiritual training, and kindness gradually transformed his life. After teaching Buddhism and compassion internationally, including in the United States and at the United Nations, he returned to India determined to help vulnerable children facing hardships similar to his own.
In 2006, he founded Jhamtse Gatsal Children’s Community, a nurturing home and school for disadvantaged children in the Himalayas, built on love, compassion, and dignity rather than pity or labels. Through his work, Lobsang shows that children who are neglected or rejected still possess immense potential and that healing and transformation can come through unconditional care and human connection.
