YFB is proud to introduce The Godfather Classic, a brand new event created to pay homage to the Godfather of AAU Basketball, Boo Williams. For the first time, YFB is bringing our tournament experience to THE Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton, Virginia for a weekend celebrating the impact, influence and legacy of a man who has helped shape grassroots basketball for generations. In its first year, we expect The Godfather Classic to bring together teams from Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, DC and beyond for a high-level weekend of basketball under one roof. Teams can expect the full YFB experience with great competition, a 3+ game guarantee, certified officials, championship medals, individual MVP recognition, media coverage and player exposure, along with opportunities to qualify for YBOA and SFP Nationals.
This is Year One, and you only get one chance to say you were there when it started. Get your team registered, lock in your spot and join us in Hampton as we bring teams from across the region together at one of the most iconic grassroots basketball facilities in the country to celebrate one of the most influential figures in the game.
Honor the legacy. Compete where history was built. Be part of the beginning.
We Don’t Just Host Basketball Tournaments. We Create Experiences.
