Join the Shelby County Suicide Prevention Coalition for the 1st Annual Fishing for Sammy, a day of family-friendly fishing, community, remembrance, and hope as we honor the life of Sammy Teusch.
Sammy was a bright, kind-hearted fourth-grade student who tragically died by suicide on May 5, 2024, after enduring relentless bullying. He was just 10 years old.
Through this event, we honor his memory while raising awareness about suicide prevention, bullying prevention, and the importance of supporting one another.

🎣 Fishing license NOT required
🐟 Top combined weight of 5 fish wins the tournament trophy

🎫 Scratches available: 2 for $5 (maximum of 2 per participant)
🎣 One fishing pole per person in the water
