Join the Historic Athens Welcome Center for a free community event all about life in Athens in the early 1800s. Historic skills and trades demonstrations, live music, learning stations, and more will share the diverse history of the Athens, Georgia area on Sunday, October 4th from 2-5 PM and Sunday, November 8th from 2-5 PM.Please RSVP for free at: https://www.athenswelcomecenter.com/1800s-athens-events
- Location: 280 E. Dougherty St. Athens, GA
- Parking: On-site parking is limited, but there is street parking close to the Welcome Center. It's best to download the ParkMobile app before your visit to utilize the new downtown parking system.
- Accessibility: There is a wheelchair lift on-site. Please note that some activities will take place upstairs and on uneven ground.
