About this Event
The 180 Music Bridge Pro Recording Artist & Songwriting Workshop, presented by 180 Music Group and Neal Pendergraft, is an opportunity for working musicians, songwriters, aspiring recording artists, and music entrepreneurs to learn directly from professionals who have achieved success in the national music industry and work in it every day.
By combining practical music business education, songwriting instruction, performance insight, and direct interaction with award-winning music business professionals, the workshop aims to help participants better understand not just how to create music, but how to turn their creative abilities into sustainable professional careers.
At its heart, the workshop is about bridging the gap between musical talent and music business knowledge - helping artists, writers and creatives become better equipped to manage, market, protect, and monetize their work.
Anyone interested in the music industry, whether from a business or creative side is encouraged to participate.

REBECCA LYNN HOWARD
Crossover country-pop singer, and two time Grammy Award Winner, Rebecca Lynn Howard hails from a small Appalachian town in eastern Kentucky and moved to Nashville in 1997, where she began a career as a singer-songwriter. Her compositions have been recorded by artists like Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, Runaway June, Julianne Hough, John Michael Montgomery, rock band New Medicine and Clay Aiken, to name a few. Her writing style varies from deep-rooted, front porch bluegrass and mountain music, to country, to pop, to heavy power punk rock, and most everything in between. Howard was a featured vocalist on Jim Brickman's "Simple Things" and enjoyed the #1 slot on the Adult Contemporary chart, but she is best known for her smash hit "Forgive", which is still a favorite among fans and critics alike. Howard is the bassist/vocalist in Steven Tyler’s country band Loving Mary. They have completed a North American tour as well as a European tour. Howard signed with country star Lee Brice’s record label Pumphouse Records where she recently released a brand new album “I’m Not Who You Think I Am”.
