A musical 250 years in the making!About this Event
1776 follows the Second Continental Congress as it vies for the votes needed to pass the Declaration of Independence. Amid disagreements, an unwillingness to compromise, and the Continental Army falling apart, will they ever make it to the Fourth of July? In a bold new production of this Tony Award-winning musical, the action moves from Independence Hall to a high school history classroom, where students are studying the Founding Fathers, and connects 250 years of American history.
