🌻 International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day: A Day of Healing, Hope, and Connection 🌻International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day (also known as Survivor Day) is an annual event observed around the world. It is a day designated by the U.S. Congress where survivors of suicide loss come together for healing, support, and to find connection in the shared journey of hope.
Join us for a supportive and compassionate gathering exclusively dedicated to individuals who have lost a loved one to suicide. This event offers a safe space to connect with others who seek to navigate the unique journey of suicide grief, honor your loved one's memory, and find comfort and strength as we head into the holiday season.
📅 When: Saturday, November 21st | 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
📍 Where: The Integrative Collective, 17 West Street, Goshen, NY (Orange County)
🍲 Refreshments: A light lunch will be served.
🕊️ Attendance: This event is exclusively for survivors of suicide loss.
Program Highlights:
• Stories of Hope: Hear from local speakers and loss survivors.
• Restorative Wellness: Participate in gentle yoga and a soothing sound bath experience.
• Honoring Memories: A dedicated memorial table will be present. You are warmly invited to bring a framed photograph of your loved one to display.
• Film Screening: A brief, supportive film screening produced by the AFSP for Survivor's Day.
• Community & Connection: Connect deeply with a supportive, understanding local environment.
