Please join us for our annual Eleanor Delfs, MD Endowed Lectureship. This lectureship serves as a means of permanently identifying the contributions of this outstanding woman and physician.We are pleased to announce our guest speaker this year: Christina E. Boots, MD, MSCI. Her presentation will be "Bridging Two Epidemics: Obesity Management in Infertility Care"
Christina Boots, MD, MSCI is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist at Northwestern University. Her clinical interests and research focus on the effects of nutrition, lifestyle, obesity, and PCOS on reproductive health, oocyte quality and early pregnancy.
She received her medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago. She received her fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Washington University in St. Louis. Since that time, she has been practicing at Northwestern University- Center for Fertility and Reproductive Medicine and earned her Masters in Science and Clinical Investigation.
Dr. Boots enjoys a robust clinical practice that includes the full spectrum of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr. Boots is actively involved in academic medicine and regularly delivers formal and informal education to medical students, residents and fellows, and provides peer review on the Editorial Board of Fertility and Sterility and was recently named Associate Editor for Fertility and Sterility Reports. She will become the REI Fellowship Program Director in 2027.
It will be held in person at MCW’s Cancer Center for Discovery—N1010/N1030/N1050 Combinable Room on the first floor of the lobby.
