Celebrating 14 years of bringing awareness to gender-based violence, supporting Turning Point domestic violence shelters, and honoring the hundreds of survivors in our community.Resource Fair from 4p-6p, featuring agencies from the Union County Sexual Assault Response Team, special guest speakers, Walk a Mile merch for sale, giveaways, law enforcement awards, and several displays to honor survivors of violence.
The Walk will begin promptly at 6p, starting at the pavilion and marching through uptown.
This is a FREE & family-friendly event. All are welcome to walk, regardless of age, gender or style of shoe. Heels are encouraged to show your sign of solidarity but not required. Donations are encouraged, with all proceeds benefit Turning Point.

PLEASE NOTE: there is no Friday Night Uptown Event during our walk this year, but feel free to enjoy the many local food & beverage businesses before or after the walk.
