Join us as we honor those who served in our Armed Forces as our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary.Chaffee Crossing’s 14th Annual Western Arkansas Veterans Day Celebration returns Saturday, November 7, with a day of remembrance, history and community in the Chaffee Crossing Historic District.
This year, we’ll explore America’s story through a military lens—from today’s local military leaders to Chaffee’s World War II history, brought to life through living historians and letters from the museum’s collections.
We’re proud to honor 2026 Grand Marshal Sylvia Pitzen Timmons, a U.S. Air Force veteran whose 10-year military career included service at NATO headquarters in Paris, France.
Our keynote speakers will be:
▪️ Colonel Stephen Brack, Garrison Commander, Fort Chaffee Joint Maneuver Training Center
▪️ Lt. Col. Jonathan D. “Winchester” Linn, Commander, Arkansas Air National Guard’s 184th Attack Squadron
Explore vintage military vehicles, visit military organization booths, enjoy food trucks and discover the Chaffee Barbershop & Military Museum.
