Join us for our 12th Annual PaDucky Derby for your chance to win $2,500!At 3 p.m. on Oct. 24, 15,000 rubber ducks will race their way across Montgomery Lake in Bob Noble Park, and the fastest three ducks will win their adoptive parents cash prizes of $2,500, $1,000, and $500, respectively. Plus, come out to the park early to check out our duck merchandise and family-fun activities and cheer on your ducks.

Paducah Power will suspend giant wooden boxes over the water, and the ducks will be dumped dramatically into the pond, and then the fire department will use their fire hose to give the ducks a current. They race along a course that is roped off, and kayakers in the water will pluck out the three fastest ducks.
In the weeks leading up to the race, we ask you, the community, to “adopt” ducks (each adoption gives the purchaser one entry).
The proceeds of the race are used to provide services for the hundreds of survivors of intimate partner violence and their kiddos we serve annually. Merryman House works to save, build and change the lives of those affected by domestic violence.
