This semester, we are bringing you back-to-back FAN Meetings in a 6-week block of gatherings.
You may join us at any time and alternate attendance as your schedule allows within these 6 weeks!
This fall, our curriculum will be the book For (attendees do not need to purchase anything; all materials will be provided). Study synopsis: In Romans, the apostle Paul writes that God is FOR us. But what does that mean, especially when our prayers go unanswered, our kids are struggling, or the outcome isn't what we hoped for? This curriculum is for foster & adoptive parents, and it will take a deep dive into these questions, exploring how we can be FOR everyone in the adoptive and foster care journey, with God-inspired, fueled support and understanding. We will use a support group format, and sharing is encouraged; education hours are available.
Childcare will be available for children ages 12 and under. Kids will be checked in at the main church building (at our childcare desk), then parents/caregivers will meet at our new Care Center. Children in grades 1st through 5th will attend KidsClub during our October sessions (in November they will be in childcare only), while middle and high school students are welcome to participate in Westside's Student Ministry programming in the church building.
We will provide dinner for adults, and children will be served in their respective childcare rooms.
