I’ve been thinking for a while about how I could give back to a community that has given so much to my family. In March 2025, my son was diagnosed with leukemia. Our lives changed almost overnight. Since then, we have experienced an incredible amount of support from family, friends, our community, and especially Adam’s Army.
Now I want to turn something I enjoy into an opportunity to help other families facing childhood cancer.
On Saturday, November 7, I’m taking on:
12 HOURS FOR ADAM’S ARMY
A Disc Golf Endurance Challenge for Childhood Cancer
From 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM, I’m going to see how many holes of disc golf I can complete in 12 hours.
You can support the challenge with a flat donation or by pledging an amount for every hole I complete.
$0.25 per hole.
$0.50 per hole.
$1 per hole.
Or whatever amount you choose.
And there is one thing I want to make very clear:
100% of the pledges and donations from this challenge will go to Adam’s Army.
My goal for our first year is to raise $5,000 for Adam’s Army and the families they support.
This first year may just be me, a bag of discs, and 12 hours on the course.
But I’m hoping this becomes something much bigger.
Maybe we eventually fill an entire course with people throwing discs for the same reason: helping families who are going through one of the hardest experiences imaginable.
For now, it starts with one player and one day.
One Disc.
Twelve Hours.
Every Hole for Childhood Cancer.
