Save the date: Memorial Day Weekend 2026 (May 23-25) is going to be one you don’t want to miss! It’s the 11th Vw500 Memorial Day Weekend Cruise. One of the largest Volkswagen Road Rallies/ Cruise/ Rolling Car Show in the Midwest.
If you have an old Vintage Volkswagen Bug, Bus, Thing, Type 3, Buggy, a New Beetle or a Buzz ID and anything in between, this is an all Vw event (anything goes). It doesn’t matter if you have the nicest Vw of all time or if you just dug it out of a field, if you want to drive it, join us!
We will meet up Saturday (May 23rd 9:30am) morning at our starting point.
We are starting in St. Robert Mo Saturday morning (we will be camping Friday night, to catch the Neon Park lit up). Cruising old Route 66 all the way to Tulsa Ok, with lots of stops for pictures along the way.
Saturday night we are staying at Indigo Sky Casino (they have an RV park for bus camping or a hotel on site)
Sunday morning we will leave from Indigo Sky Casino at 9:30 and finish the rest of the cruise to Tulsa.
Planning on staying near Tulsa on Sunday night.
Monday (Memorial Day) we will Cruise back and break off towards home.
So get out into the shop and get your Vw ready for the kickoff of Show Season. Plan on the VW500 being your shakedown run! Invite all your Vw friends and family!
