Join the Kiwanis Club of Lynchburg for the 11th Annual ShrimpFest on Saturday, October 3 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boonsboro Ruritan Club. ShrimpFest is one of our favorite community traditions and brings together great food, great music, and great people for a night that supports children and families across Lynchburg.Guests will enjoy all you can eat fresh boiled shrimp brought straight from the docks in North Carolina along with cheese grits, green beans, coleslaw, chips, cold water, dessert, DJ music, dancing, and a 50/50 raffle. Beer will be available for purchase.
This year’s ShrimpFest supports three outstanding nonprofit partners that serve children in our community.
Amazement Square inspires creativity and curiosity through hands on exhibits and educational programs.
Camp Kum Ba Yah Nature Center provides outdoor learning experiences that help kids explore nature, build confidence, and grow through adventure.
Miriam’s House offers housing support, stability, and hope for families experiencing homelessness.
ShrimpFest also supports Kiwanis youth leadership programs including Terrific Kids, Builder’s Club, Key Club, and Circle K. Your participation helps us continue more than one hundred years of service to children and families in Lynchburg.
