About this Event
is teaming up with a private 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children and their families to become strong and successful leaders. We are excited to host our 11th Curls and Convo event! Mygani's signature event was created to instill the value of self-confidence in women + girls . Join us for a convo about how our hair + culture affects our wellness journey.
We will also continue our conversation about the importance of the Crown Act; which stands for “Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair,” is a law that prohibits race-based hair discrimination, which is the denial of employment and educational opportunities because of hair texture or protective hairstyles including braids, locs, twists or bantu knots.
