Join the Central SC H.O.G. Chapter on Saturday, October 10, 2026, as we celebrate a very special milestone — the 10th Annual Phil Page Memorial Challenge, benefiting Carolina Sunshine for Children.
For ten years, this challenge has honored the memory of Phil Page while continuing something he was deeply passionate about: raising money to help South Carolina children facing life-threatening illnesses.
❤️ Remembering Phil Page
Phil was a well-liked and a dedicated Activities Officer with the Central SC H.O.G. Chapter. He had a tremendous passion for supporting Carolina Sunshine and the children and families they serve.
His motto was simple:
“It’s for the children!”
Ten years later, those words remain at the heart of this event.
Every mile we ride and every dollar we raise helps keep Phil’s memory — and his mission — alive.
☀️ Carolina Sunshine for Children
Since 1983, Carolina Sunshine for Children has been dedicated to brightening the lives of South Carolina children with life-threatening illnesses — turning dreams into memories and wishes into hope.
Their mission is to bring joy, hope and unforgettable memories to children by granting heartfelt wishes and supporting their families during some of life’s most challenging times.
🦅 A Tradition That Goes Back Even Further
While this is the 10th Annual Phil Page Memorial Challenge, our chapter’s support of Carolina Sunshine goes back much further.
According to Trish Camarota, The Haven Harley-Davidson and the Central SC H.O.G. Chapter were already supporting Carolina Sunshine when she joined the chapter in 2006.
Back then, the dealership held an annual poker run benefiting Carolina Sunshine that ended at Rawls Point. This was before poker runs were as common as they later became, and those rides could draw around 100 motorcycles!
The format has evolved over the years, eventually becoming the Phil Page Memorial Challenge, but the reason we do it hasn’t changed:
Help the children. Support the families. Keep the tradition going.
