Blockbusters at the Ballpark Concludes 10th Anniversary with MICHAELCommunity Education will conclude the 10th Annual Blockbusters at the Ballpark on Saturday, September 19, with a free evening of family fun and Michael, the Michael Jackson biopic, at Bowling Green Ballpark.
Gates open at 5 p.m., and the movie begins at 6 p.m.
Families are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the playground, carousel, outfield activities, concessions (card ONLY), and other pre-movie fun. Guests may sit in the stadium's box seats or bring a blanket for the outfield. (No chairs, strollers, or wagons are permitted on the outfield.)
Admission is FREE, although donations are gratefully accepted to support Community Education's programs, including before- and after-school care, Teen Angel, Safe Seats | Safe Kids, children's summer programming, adult enrichment classes, and other community initiatives.
Blockbusters at the Ballpark is made possible through the generous support of local sponsors and community partners. WNKY returns as the event's Red Carpet Sponsor, with additional support from the Bowling Green Hot Rods, Houchens Food Group, Houchens Insurance Group, Industrial Electrical Contractors, and other community partners who help make this event possible and keep admission free.
