In conjunction with Yippie Yopi Yoga Studio we are hosting a 10km Fun Run/Walk/Bike along Marine Parade to raise awareness and funds for Sands Hawke's Bay. It's a whānau-friendly event so bring the kids and move your bodies. You can run/walk/bike as much of the 10km course as you feel upto and if that's really not your thing then you can be the encouragement as the others complete their course. We invite you to bring a picnic blanket and some kai along to share with your whānau and enjoy a morning of connection with others in the Sands community. It truly is beautiful to spend time with others - mums, dads, siblings, grandparents, extended whānau and friends - who understand life after loss and for whom the conversation isn't awkward. And remember, a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet. We can't wait to see you there!
