TRUNK OR TREAT IS BACK! 🎃🚗 Halloween is getting a little more pawsome this year!
Join Hawk Subaru, SAYv Animal Organization, and Subies of the Corn for our annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 12pm to 3pm at Hawk Subaru Joliet, located at 2401 Illinois Route 59, Plainfield, IL 60586.
But the Halloween fun isn't the only reason to stop by! 🐶🐱❤️
🐾 MEET ADOPTABLE ANIMALS FROM FIVE LOCAL RESCUES!
SAYv adoptables will be joined by animals from Ruby Whiskers Animal Rescue, Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue, Paws Up 4 Rescue, K9 Enrichment Initiative and Wags 2 Wishes Animal Rescue! Together, these five rescue organizations will help shine a spotlight on pets looking for their forever homes.
Come meet some amazing dogs and cats, learn more about each rescue, and discover how you can support the organizations working every day to give animals a second chance. Animal attendance will be weather permitting.

According to the ASPCA®, approximately 5.8 million dogs and cats entered shelters and rescues across the United States in 2025. With so many animals still waiting for homes, events like this bring the community together while helping local rescue organizations connect with potential adopters and supporters.
Admission is FREE, and no registration is required for those attending to trunk or treat.
Adoptable animals from SAYv will be announced closer to the event, so be sure to follow the event page for updates!
Come celebrate Halloween with us, support local animal rescue, and enjoy a fun afternoon with the community❤️.
