About the Event
Experience an inspiring afternoon bringing together health, community, education and career inspiration..
The event will celebrate the launch of 100 Black British Doctors, an anthology created by the Future Medics Forum, featuring real-life stories and career journeys of 100 Black medical professionals from across the UK.
Through conversations with doctors and other clinicians, health activities and interactive sessions, the event aims to connect the community with healthcare professionals while inspiring the next generation to explore careers in medicine and healthcare.

Who Is It For?
This is a community event for everyone, including families, children and young people, students, aspiring healthcare professionals and anyone interested in health and wellbeing.
We particularly encourage young people from African and Caribbean backgrounds who are interested in medicine, healthcare or simply want to discover the opportunities available to them.
Our Aim
We want to create a culturally safe and welcoming space where the Black and wider local community can access health expertise, connect with healthcare professionals and feel represented.
We also want young people to see that a career in medicine and healthcare is achievable, rewarding and an opportunity to make a real difference in their communities.
