About this Event
1 Million Cups Sacramento is having an in-person meetup on Wednesday, October 21, at HUMANBULB Innovation Center — and this month, we’re excited to be part of Sac Tech Week, a six-day, citywide celebration of Sacramento’s tech and innovation community.
We’re looking forward to seeing everyone in our community face-to-face and being part of a week that brings together founders, startups, technologists, creatives, investors, students, and community leaders from across the region!
This will be a hybrid meeting, so those who can't come in person can join us on Zoom.
Presenters:
Liz Awesome is a a queer jewish culture worker in the diaspora. Liz believes it is a mitzvah to work toward collective liberation. Liz's oeuvre includes concept art and mixed media works, which are presented to the public through the Awesome Newsletter, and at in-person shows, workshops, and studio visits.
FlowersPop is an AI-powered gifting platform that helps people answer one of the most common—and often stressful—gifting questions: “What should I get them?”
FlowersPop starts with the person you’re celebrating. Tell us who they are, and our AI-powered platform helps turn your intent into a personalized and creation gifting experience - where you are not only the buyer but the co-creator (with no prior craft experience required).
Today, our interactive 3D simulator lets you choose the balloon-flower arrangement, colors, and finishes - and visualize your creation. One click turns that digital design into a physical DIY kit, shipped with everything you need to make it yourself—or make it together.
We don’t just help you buy a gift. We help you imagine it, personalize it, and create it.
We’re shifting gifting from a stressful transaction into a meaningful act of creation.
Our vision is to become the AI-powered creative gifting platform—turning “What should I get them?” into “Look what I made for you.”
Arrive early to have a chance to say hello to your old friends and to make some new ones!
